So.......can we really say we're surprised? Did you think they would be too ashamed, or maybe (dare I suggest) humbled by recent events that they'd manifest a case of Spontaneous Human Scruples? Perhaps you thought that we'd finally reached a kind of tipping point, where the crowd currently running Washinton would at least try to exhibit some modicum of morality?
